Favourite Mascara of the Month-

And it goes to...

Max Factor Clump Defy Extensions False Lash Effect Mascara!

This really is one of the best mascaras I've ever tried, it really does prevent your mascara from clumping, yet still adds a lot of volume and length. I also really like the packaging and the brush it has on it.

The brush is plastic and has a nice curve to it so it fits on your eyelashes perfectly, I have been using this for a few weeks now and I am really impressed with it, it lasts all day and is so easily to apply, it gives you great lashes in just one coat! It is £11.99 at Boots, which I know isn't the cheapest of mascaras, but I really do think it is worth a try!

SQUEAKY CLEAN HAIR?

Quick review on Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Moisture Shampoo-

There are three different types to choose from, they are-

  • Moisture
  • Shine
  • Volume
I chose moisture because my hair is always on the dry side, it has 0% silicone, paraben and colourant, which is a big plus. It says it has herbal and mint fusion extracts in with it, which sounds lovely, it does however smell a little bit like a mens shower gel, but I can live with that considering it is an amazing shampoo, it literally makes your hair squeak, and thats not exaggeration, my hair has never felt so clean since using this, I will definitely be picking up the conditioner to match!

I brought mine from boots a couple of weeks ago, but yesterday I saw it in Poundland, so it really is a bargain buy, especially if you just want to try it out but don't want to pay the full price just in case you don't like it, but i'm sure you all will!

When I run out I will definitely be repurchasing, I forgot to say sorry I haven't been using this every time I wash my hair I have been using it every other time(trying to use up all of my other shampoo's lol), but I'm sure it would be great to use every time you wash your hair also.

Favourite Moisturiser of the Month-

And it goes to...

Good Things- Manuka Honey Daily Moisturiser!

I first heard of this when I watched a video on YouTube from Swalker Makeup, Sara had spoke about it and I was looking for a new one and thought I would give this a go, and i'm really glad I did!

It has royal jelly and bee venom in it, which I know you look and think bee venom!! haha but it really is a great daily moisturiser, however the only thing I would say about it, is that I accidentally touched my eye when i had just applied this to my face and it really made my eye sting, which was :( but apart from that it is lovely and I would recommend.

It is free from-
  • Sodium sulphate
  • Parabens
  • Mineral Oils
You can pick this up from boots for £7.99 and you get 100ml which is pretty generous to be honest considering you literally only need a pea size amount to do the whole of your face(honestly).

Oh and it smells AMAZING!!

HAIR HEAVEN!

Really quick review-

One thing I always have a problem with is my hair, its always either to dry, too frizzy or to broken, but one product that I really feel is helping my hair is the Tigi Bed Head Ego Boost Split End Mender(that was a mouthful haha), it is a leave in conditioner that you can put in either wet or dry hair and it just makes it feel lovely.

I have been using this product for a good 6 months now, and I still have a fair bit left, and will definitely repurchase  when I have ran out. I usually add a couple of pumps to towel dried hair and this seems to do the job; so if your looking for a new leave in conditioner, I would 100% recommend this one.

BEST FACE MASK EVER!!

Today I am going to do a quick review about what I personally think is the best face mask going-

GlamGlow Super Mud Clearing Treatment!

It honestly is amazing, it has transformed my skin for the better. It is charcoal coloured mask, that you can either apply all over your face or just in the areas you feel necessary, I usually just apply a small amount to my forehead, nose and chin areas and it just seemed to pull out all of the bad stuff from your face, it really does clean deep into your pores.

I know it is quite pricey (£33.95 for 34g is the cheapest I could find and that is on allbeauty.com) but honestly the tub will last you a while because you really don't need a lot, you just have to thin layer of it to do its job.

If you were thinking about buying it but the price tag is putting you off, just buy it, you will not regret it.

LUSCIOUS LIPS?

Quick Lip Balm Review-

Nuxe Reve de Miel (Lip Balm)- Feel Unique- £9.50

Ok so I've never paid more than about £4 for a lip balm before, but just recently my lips have been feeling so chapped and rough that I thought it was time that I treated myself to a higher (well what i presume is a) end lip balm, and I am so glad that I did! Firstly I love the smell, it smells of honey but not to sweet, secondly I love the texture of it on my lips it feels quite matte, which I know is a bit weird considering its suppose to be a moisturising lip balm but it still nourishes and moisturises my lips so well.

It not only moisturises them but I feel it is repairing my lips as well; honestly my lips have never felt so soft and in good condition. You can apply this as much as you want, but you don't really need to re-apply it that often because it literally lasts on the lips for ages; if I put it on before I go to bed at night, I can still feel it on my lips the next morning when I wake up, now that's impressive! (Well it is to me anyway, hehe)

So yeah, I would defiantly recommend this to anyone, and although the price is a little steep just for a lip balm its so worth it and also you get loads of product so its going to last you a while anyway, and yes I will most certainly be repurchasing this when I run out, I'm so happy I made the decision to try this!

Hair Heaven?

Quick Hair Mask Review-

L'OREAL EVER RICHE NOURISHING INTENSE MASK-Boots- £6.99

Just a quick review on a hair product that I have recently been loving; bearing in mind my hair is very dry and damaged from heat, it still left it feeling soft and silky. I left it on my hair for about and hour and a half and by the time I had washed it off my hair felt great, not repaired, but still great. I also love the smell, to me it smells like holidays, like Shea butter, it just smells amazing and the smell lasted in my hair until the next time I washed it. I feel it is very reasonably priced and would definitely recommend it and repurchase it again.

Random Beauty Haul...

The other day I went on a little shopping trip with my lovely Mom and just thought I'd show you some of the items we picked up along the way (Also I've added the two products we ordered from Avon too)...

Bristows Silver Shampoo- Bodycare 99p
I needed a new purple shampoo and the one I normally buy (the Silverkin one I think its called) was out of stock so I thought I would give this one ago, I don't know how well this will work but I shall let you all know!

St Ives Fresh Skin Invigorating Face Scrub- Superdrug £1.96
Me and my Mom both wanted to try out a new face scrub and decided between us to get this one, mainly because it smelt really nice like apricots; I shall let you know if its any good and worth buying.

Avon Liquid Freeze Nail Dry Spray- Avon £3.00
I had been eyeing this up for a few weeks and when the Avon book come I finally decided to buy some, I have used this once and it is really, really good in all fairness, it dried my nails really quickly and left a nice shine too them, would definitely recommend.

Avon Nail Art brush- Avon £1.50
I have been getting into painting my nails more often recently and saw this advertise in the book  and thought it looked really cool and that I'd give it a little go, I haven't tried it yet, but as I said above I will do a review on it soon.

Rimmel Stay Matte Concealer/Corrector- Poundland £1.00
I was just randomly having a nose around Poundland as we all do every now and again, because everyone knows you can get some real bargains from there, and I came across this concealer, I hadn't saw it in Boots or Superdrug for a while so that must have discontinued it (boooo) but thought I'd give it a go for a pound, and I am so glad I did, the colour matches my skin great and it gives great lasting coverage without looking to heavy on the skin.

Revlon Satin Eye shadow- Poundland £1.00 (010 Polished Bronze)
I also came across this gorgeous eye shadow colour and had to pick it up, considering it was only a pound, I haven't tried this one yet, but I'm really excited to do so, it looked really pigmented and a really wearable colour.

PLUMP UP THE VOLUME

Quick Review- V05 Dry Backcomb Spray...

(Boots- £3.49)

A couple of weeks ago I was fed up with the one side of my hair looking much flatter than the other, so I decided to give this a go. It claims to be a backcomb in a tin, and all I can say is that it definitely lives up to its title! It's pretty inexpensive which is always good, the bottles pink and it adds volume to your hair, what more could you want!?

Personally I would recommend this to anyone who feels their hair is looking a little bit flat and just want that extra volume; it's also really easy to use, you just spray it on to the roots of your hair or wherever you feel you need volume, rub it in with your fingers and then you have beautifully voluminous hair in an instant!

On the plus side your not harming your hair by using this either, whereas if you backcomb your hair with a brush or comb all of the time, your going to seriously damage tour lovely hair, which of course is not good.

Hope this little, quick review helped!

September Nail Polish Favourites...

This month I've been rotating between these three nail polishes-

Essie- Cascade Cool
This is just the perfect barbie, pretty pink colour, I love it so much and have been getting alot of use of of it, it lasts on the nail a fair while, and doesnt take to long to dry, I like to paint my nails with 2 coats of this.
Avon- Lemon Sugar
The camera isnt picking up this colour right, its much more of a pastel yellow colour, it might be a bit summery for September but oh well, it applies really nicely too; I usually apply 2 coats of this.
Essie- Fiji
Ahhh my favourite one out if the three, this is just the perfect white/pastel pink colour, I love it so much, I tend to keep adding coats and coats to make the colour pop more even though I don't really need to hehe.

September Make Up Favourites...

Just a few make up favourites from September-

(Sorry for the bad picture quality)

Cosmopolitan eyelash curlers- Superdrug
Not much to say apart from these curl the lashes really well and I love them

Real Techniques Stippling brush- Boots
I use this to blend in my under eye concealer and I adore it; it does the job quick and gives a lovely finish.

Balmi Mint lip balm- Boots
I love this so much, it's such a cool little beauty item, which moisturises the lips really well and is so compact to take anywhere with you; they do them in a few other different flavours which I will definitely be trying out when I run out of this one.

Soap and Glory, Kick Ass Concealer (Light)- Boots
This little pot contains three products in total however at the moment my favourite one and the only one I am using is the super wear face concealer, its a great colour and give a great coverage, I use this on blemishes  redness in my cheeks and over my under eye concealer, I use the Real Techniques stippling brush to dab it in to my skin.

Benefit Erase Paste- Debenhams
This is a great under eye concealer, I put this on before the Soap and Glory concealer and the two mix well together and create great coverage for dark circles under the eye, which unfortunately I have badly and I don't even know why :(

Garnier Eye Roll on Anti Dark Circles- Boots
This is great for when I can't be bothered to put on my other under eye concealers it does a great job, however I do have to re-apply this throughout the day though, but its so quick and easy to do that this doesn't bother me.

I would definitely recommend these products to anyone, trust me you won't be wasting your money :) :)

Thank You
